The infamous Pirate of Brixham Captain Blackheart
As you wander the streets of Brixham there is always a chance you might just catch a glimpse of the cold-hearted pirate that goes by the name of Captain Blackheart. Often seen around the Golden Hind ship down on Brixham Quay and we all know he is devising some cunning plan to steal that ship away.
However, old Blackheart is not as black-hearted as he sounds and looks and certainly as a very big heart no matter what the colour of it is. He has brought many a smile to many people’s faces both old and young with his antics on both sea and land down in Brixham.
He has just recently has had this book published which is available on Amazon… Captain Blackheart and Darcy the Mermaid and Cappy Blackheart did the illustrations himself. It is a children’s book about how Captain Blackheart, Due to the magical powers of his sorceress, finds out that he can, in fact, talk to all animals both on land and at sea and between them, they end up on all manner of crazy adventures.
